We can continue our work to lift up children and families — but we need the resources to do it.

It’s official, folks — the United States Senate has authorized New Mexico’s constitutional amendment to invest in early childhood education and K-12 schools!

New Mexican lawmakers, advocates, and — most importantly — voters across our state have worked for more than a decade to secure this investment in our kids, families, and educators. I am proud to have been a part of this work and, now, to have led New Mexico’s Democratic congressional delegation to get this critical legislation passed in the Senate. Next, this bill heads to the House of Representatives, and then President Biden!

Very soon, New Mexican families will finally have access to universal early childhood education and care, students in need will have support to reach their full potential, and we will see more investments in our educators and students at every grade level.

All without raising taxes on hardworking folks.

We can continue our work to lift up children and families — but we need the resources to keep champions for education and families in Congress and our state legislature. That’s where you come in:

Will you help ensure we can build on this win by pitching in any amount to my campaign?
