We’re back in court for the Boundary Waters.
Dear John,
Today, Northeastern Minnesotans for Wilderness - lead organization of the Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters - and ten local businesses moved to intervene on the side of the federal government against a Twin Metals’ federal lawsuit that seeks to force the renewal of terminated mining leases next to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
The Twin Metals’ lawsuit is an attempt to r evive its rejected plan to build a dangerous sulfide-ore copper mine along rivers, lakes, and streams that flow directly into the Wilderness.
