It has been my greatest honor to serve WA-01, and I could not be more proud of the historic accomplishments and investments in our communities we have fought for together. But to continue the fight and create the changes we know we need, we must take back our Democratic majority.

That's why I am thrilled to share with you today that the Democratic caucus voted to confirm me as Chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee after incoming Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries nominated me for the role. I will need your support to continue the critical work we've been doing to help Democratic candidates win here at home and across the country.

With a Democratic majority, we were able to pass protections for same-sex and interracial marriage in the Respect for Marriage Act , additional support for our children and families though the Child Tax Credit expansion and Access to Baby Formula Act , and historic investments for our communities across the country in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act .

But as we face a Republican takeover in the 118th Congress, we need to lead the charge together to take back our majority in 2024. We cannot afford four more years of ideological division, MAGA extremism, and a political standstill at the expense of the American people.

I'm ready to get to work with our new leadership team, all corners of our Caucus, and, most importantly, you to win back the House Majority.
