Friend,
As a dedicated supporter of global population stabilization, I hope you appreciate learning about programs helping to achieve this momentous goal. Thanks to the support of donors like you, we’re expanding our Global Partners program. With your help, we’re partnering with smaller, community-based organizations that remove barriers to girls’ education, offer reproductive health care services, and employ “population, health, and environment” initiatives to conserve wildlife and human health.
I’d like to introduce you to one of our new Global Partners: Girl Up Initiative Uganda. Girl Up works to alleviate the double burdens of poverty and patriarchy in the slums of Kampala, Uganda, so that girls and women can gain access to quality education and economic inclusion.
Girl Up’s flagship program, the Adolescent Girls Program (AGP), engages girls ages 9-15 in 30 partner schools throughout Uganda. Girls acquire life and self-leadership skills and age-appropriate sexual and reproductive health education throughout the academic year.
Through this program, girls build self-confidence and learn how to assert their rights in regard to their bodies, educations, and futures. To date, nearly 8,000 girls have “graduated” from this innovative program, which represents just one initiative that this amazing organization works on.
We are proud to call Girl Up Initiative Uganda a partner in our fight for global population stabilization—along with over a dozen other Global Partners that YOUR gift of $40.00 can support today. [[link removed]]
Our Global Partners program lends support to small and mid-sized organizations working on wildlife conservation, sexual and reproductive health services, women’s and girls’ empowerment, and more! You know all too well that the problems these organizations tackle—much like rapid population growth—are global issues with local effects and solutions.
I hope to count YOU as a partner in this tremendous endeavor! Thanks to a very generous fellow donor, your gift of $40.00 towards Global Partners will be DOUBLED, up to $250,000! [[link removed]]
And, most importantly, your gift will directly impact the communities these organizations serve, including in Kampala, with Girl Up Initiative Uganda. With your help, we can foster a sustainable future on a livable planet.
I appreciate your generosity and commitment to population stabilization! Thank you for your support.
Warm regards,
