Dear John,

Wouldn’t you love for your kids or grandkids to be able to go to a California public school—without worrying if they would be force-fed radical politics?

Like you, I know that teachers’ unions have made this impossible for all but the few communities whose schools are not failing.

And if you and I try to improve public education . . . we run into the largest—and worst—teachers’ union in the nation.

But thanks to CPC’s Parent Union, we’re not fighting the unions alone anymore. With your help, we’re helping parents of school-age children organize and fight the state’s powerful teachers’ unions.

The goal? To introduce parental choice in a system that fails to educate California’s children . . . and that tries to teach them to hold their country in contempt.

I’M IN! LET’S TAKE BACK CALIFORNIA!

And during Covid, parents and education advocates saw California’s public education system fail to meet our children’s needs.

We saw teachers’ union leaders demand that campuses remain closed—long after the science said it was both safe to return and dangerous to students’ mental health to keep them isolated at home.

As report after report shows how horrible school lockdowns were for students’ health and intellectual development, union leaders refuse to acknowledge their failures during the pandemic.

Instead, they’re focused on expanding their political power, while ignoring the fact that California’s public schools are both the worst and the most expensive in the country.

But thanks to your support, California parents are fighting back. And I hope you will continue helping these parents by supporting CPC and the Parent Union with a gift of $20, $50, $100, or even $250 or more today! Here’s why this is so important.

Launched in 2017, the Parent Union helps the leaders of parent groups and parents effectively advocate for change—and stand up to the powerful teachers’ unions.

The Parent Union serves as a resource hub for parent groups statewide, representing hundreds of thousands of parents and community activists rallying for school choice and education reform across our state.

I’M IN! LET’S TAKE BACK CALIFORNIA!

And because of your generous support in 2022, we had our most impactful year yet!

  • We held our first annual Legislative Summit, hosting 65 parent-activist leaders from 15 counties of California.
  • We also upped our outreach to Spanish-speaking parents, including an in-person conference in Santa Ana at which parents and educators discussed parental rights, school budgets, classroom curricula, and more.
  • In some places, Parent Union members even ran for their local school board—and won!—utilizing our Candidate Academy training program that saw 400+ participants!

Because of the growth in 2022, our second annual Legislative Summit is already on the calendar for February 8-9, 2023 in Sacramento.

As Will said in his recent letter and emails to you, CPC is leading the fight to Take California Back from out-of-control government unions.

For parents, that means directly confronting the teachers’ unions with their own union—the Parent Union—and in 2023 we’re set to have an even greater impact.

That is, if we have your support. Please click here to send a gift of $20, $50, $100, or $250 to empower parents through CPC’s Parent Union, and let’s Take California Back!

Sincerely,

Mallory Staley
