Adhikaar is the only women-led community and worker center for Nepali-speaking communities in the country. We organize both Nepali-speaking adults and youths-particularly new immigrant youth –to build a powerful and intergenerational movement.

We often hear from our youth about their struggles with identity. They also share their difficulties in navigating higher education as first-generation prospective college students from working-class families. To address these issues, we began organizing youth members by conducting various workshops and activities on culture, identity, higher education access, and leadership development.
