Dear friends,

It has been the honor of my life to serve the residents and families of Rhode Island’s First Congressional District, and I am writing today to share my sincere gratitude for your support and friendship through the years.

As we celebrate this holiday season, and look forward to the new year ahead, I am so thankful to have your support as we continue our efforts to deliver an economy that works for all Americans, improve the lives and well-being of families and workers across the nation, safeguard the rights and protections we hold most dear, and ensure hard-working Americans can retire in good health and with dignity.

While I do enjoy sending out my annual New Year’s Greeting cards to friends and supporters to share my appreciation, this year, in the spirit of giving and to observe an eco-friendlier holiday, I will be starting a new tradition. Rather than printing greeting cards to celebrate the season, I will instead sponsor ten families through the Children’s Friend Spirit of Giving Holiday Drive.

This annual Holiday Drive provides gifts of warm new clothing, books and toys, and other necessities to thousands of children in Rhode Island. You can learn more about the Children’s Friend Spirit of Giving Holiday Drive by visiting www.cfsri.org.
