- FLIPPED control of four chambers in Michigan, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania,
- DEFENDED our majorities in Maine, Colorado, New Mexico, and Washington,
- GAINED a supermajority in Vermont’s state legislature, and
- PROTECTED the Governor’s veto power in Wisconsin and North Carolina.

We’re so proud of all that we’ve accomplished this year – but we can’t let this momentum burn out.

There are FIVE special elections on the books already for January – and we’re anticipating even more in the months to come. We have razor-thin margins in several chambers, so every race counts in 2023.

These wins are nothing short of historic. Despite the GOP’s outsized spending, record fundraising, and a decades-long advantage at the state legislative ballot level, we were able to elect incredible state Democratic candidates who will fight to protect our rights, our progressive agenda, and our democracy.

But we can’t take any of this for granted – each of these victories was hard-won and made possible by many months spent organizing volunteers, making key investments, running digital ads, and reaching out to voters – critical work fueled by donations from our grassroots supporters like you.

So if we want to replicate these results in 2023 and 2024, we have to start right now.
