Hey MeidasMighty – Ben here with an important update on the Jan. 6 Committee.

This Monday, the January 6th House Investigation panel released its final report, referring Donald Trump to the Department of Justice where he'll face criminal charges for attempting to overthrow American democracy.

After nearly two years of hearings, bombshell discoveries, skipped depositions and a midterm election which ousted multiple members of the panel on both sides of the aisle, my brothers and I are relieved that this stage in the search for justice has come to an organic end. So now, we wait to see what the Department of Justice will do.

Now, with the GOP’s slim, ramshackle majority assuming power in January, I’m not sure whether these anti-democracy conspiracists will actually be held accountable for their crimes. That terrifies me because these numbnuts could seriously be emboldened to try again.

I'm taking comfort in one thing – after the GOP’s disastrous performance in the midterm elections, the American people clearly believe that there is NO room for anti-democracy insurrectionists in our government.

But until they are legally disqualified from holding office again under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, their attacks against pro-democracy representatives and legal proceedings are only going to get louder. That’s why I’m cutting through all the crap to get your take directly with a quick poll:
