After Roe v. Wade was overturned, I told you the GOP would do everything in its power to take away reproductive freedom. And Virginia Republicans have worked overtime to prove my prediction right.

First, Glenn Youngkin announced his support for a 15-week abortion ban. Then, a bill was pre-filed in the House of Delegates that would go even further. Now, Youngkin has officially proposed funds to be set aside for jailing abortion seekers and abortion providers should his ban go into effect.

I've had it with Republicans who talk about "freedom" while trying to legislate private medical decisions and throw women and doctors in jail. I'm running for State Senate to secure our firewall against this dangerous agenda. Will you donate $10 to help my campaign meet our end-of-year fundraising goal in 10 days?

Youngkin managed to pull the wool over the media's eyes in 2021 and got himself covered as "pragmatic" and "moderate." He's shown his true colors now, and we need to take the fight to the airwaves against his endorsed candidates in every Senate district in 2023.

If we get outspent and out-messaged, Youngkin's abortion bans will become law in the Commonwealth. Our most marginalized citizens — especially communities of color, indigenous communities, and rural Virginians — will lose access to critical medical care and be at risk of unjust incarceration.
