John,
Since my career in Congress began, I’ve been committed to reducing the cost of prescription drugs.
I proudly helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act which, among its many benefits, allows Medicare to negotiate the prices of some of the most expensive and lifesaving medications for our fellow Americans. This major step forward will lower prescription drug costs for countless Americans and is long overdue.
What’s more, the cost of lifesaving insulin has been capped at $35/month for patients on Medicare and seniors have Medicare out-of-pocket drug prices capped at $2,000 per year.
This law’s passage was a major step forward in making healthcare more affordable for Virginians and I am proud to have advocated for it.
As I look ahead to my next term, I’m full of optimism about continuing this mission.
Will you help build the foundation of this campaign by making a contribution today? I can’t continue my important work without you.
