Dear John,
Amid challenges from two existential crises--a rapidly warming planet and the loss of biodiversity--and a continuing global pandemic, we still saw major strides in protecting wildlife, wild places, and people in 2022. Take a look at what we've been able to achieve together in the last 12 months. [link removed]
As we wrap up 2022 and celebrate what our community has achieved, we look ahead to the important work that awaits us in 2023. With a new Congress, we have more opportunities to continue to advocate for policies and bills that may have fallen short this year. With the increasing threats of the climate crisis, plastic pollution, and loss of biodiversity, we have hope that the tide is turning in our favor, thanks to the power of collective action and your support.
From all of us at World Wildlife Fund, we wish you a happy and safe holiday.
Sincerely,
Sara Thomas
