The holidays are over and it’s time to get right back to work on preventing the worst impacts of the climate crisis and ensuring that our workers are paid a living wage.
Central Floridians are on the frontlines of the climate crisis. Rising sea levels and hurricanes are unfortunate realities that we have come to know too well. This is why we must do everything in our power to put our country on the path towards a 100% clean economy. This issue is getting more severe every day, so we must act with urgency to reverse the devastating effects of climate change before it’s too late.

I also believe that raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour is crucial in lifting hardworking Floridians out of poverty. They deserve the chance to pursue the American Dream and get ahead in life. I have supported legislation to achieve this and will not stop pushing for it until it is passed.
When we come together and take action, I know that we can achieve great things for District 9 and the rest of the country.
