Early this month, Congressman Johnson joined Senator John Kennedy, Senator Marsha Blackburn, and Whip Steve Scalise in leading a bipartisan amicus brief to stand up for Louisiana's pro-life law that is before the Supreme Court.
If you haven't been following the story, the law under review would require ALL abortion providers to have admitting privileges at local hospitals when emergencies arise. This common sense health and safety regulation is under attack by the abortion industry, who want the ability to run their dangerous clinics without any oversight at all.
Congressman Johnson was actually co-counsel for Louisiana in defending this law at trial in federal district court when it was first challenged back in 2015. If we can secure this victory now at the Supreme Court it will have huge implications for the cause of life and the protection of women.
