John, I almost wasn't going to reach out to you.
No seriously β I was halfway through my letter to Santa Paws when I realized reaching out to you was probably a better idea.
Here's the thing: my mom, Delia Ramirez, is working SO hard to get ready for her new job in DC, but it's not easy. Her and her new co-workers are getting ready to handle some really big projects, and she needs your help. Santa Paws can't help us this time β can Delia and I count on you? [[link removed]]

I know we're all getting ready for the holidays, but there's only one thing I really want:
My mom back!
Delia's been training for her new job for weeks! Between orientation, meetings, and press conferences, we've barely spent any time together! And if you know Illinois winters, you'll know that our walks have gotten even shorter.
I know you're just going to tell me what my dad says: "Your mom is busy making our neighborhoods better for other dogs!" But how does that make me miss her any less?
Listen, John, I know I can't be too mad. Delia's done a lot of work to make sure everyone's got a roof over their head, food in their bowl, and a safe neighborhood to take long walks.
And I guess I couldn't have expected her to stop there.
Now that she's got a new job, she'll be working even harder to make sure dogs (and humans) across the country have all the necessities: someone to look after our pups, access to a good veterinarian, and making life easier for dogs and their owners who weren't born here, but are looking for a better life.
Like I said, John, my mom and her new co-workers have a lot of big projects on their hands, and it's going to take more than Santa Paws to get them the help they need. So, what do you say, John? Will you throw us a bone?𦴠[[link removed]]
