Dear John,

With the holiday season upon us, we’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our community of Hunger Fighters! You've all played a pivotal role in our progress over this year, and we truly wish you all the best this holiday season and in the year to come!

You understand that it will take a collective effort to build a food secure Philadelphia region, and that's why we are so grateful for each and every one of you for banding together to create our Coalition community made up of:

• Our friends and neighbors experiencing food insecurity - the real heart of our Coalition - who are sharing their lived experiences to help further our work and drive policy changes

• Our dedicated team and anti-hunger partners who are working to end hunger on a daily basis

• And our donors - who make it possible for us to continue our life-changing work.

We've made really meaningful progress, which we celebrate and reflect in this year's annual report. But, the hard truth is that there is still a lot of work to do in order to ensure all people have the food they need to live healthy lives. Our work is made possible by the generous contributions of our supporters. We ask that you please consider making a donation to support our life-changing work, and join funders like the USDA, Airbnb, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the Leo and Peggy Pierce Family Foundation in support of our mission.

Give Food Security This Holiday Season

If you've checked out our annual report, you already know it has been a busy, progress filled year for our small, but mighty Coalition team. To give our team a much needed break and an opportunity to rest, the Coalition Against Hunger will be closed starting December 23, 2022 and re-opening on January 3, 2023. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we look forward to coming back recharged and ready to continue our work building a food secure Philadelphia region in the new year.

If you are in need of assistance before Jan. 3, we have some resources to help:
