Since we can’t send you sufganiyot (jelly donuts) via email, we’ve collected our top eight photos from 2022 to share with you this Hanukkah instead. Scroll down to see! 📸

Friend,

As a special Hanukkah treat, we’ve rounded up our movement’s top eight photo moments from the year to share with you.

It’s our thank you for making this work possible — with your time, your resources, and your love; in the streets and on Zoom; in the halls of power and in living rooms and backyards around the country.

We have even more planned for 2023. We need you with us in our fight for a future where Black liberation is realized, our multiracial Jewish family is safe and free, and all people are thriving. This Hanukkah, chip in with a gift of $18 to help us make that vision a reality. <[link removed]>

Jews for the Freedom to Vote

We answered the call from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s family, joining them in the streets of DC to demand that Congress deliver on voting rights and protect the freedom to vote.

Abortion access is a Jewish value

Bend the Arc leaders from Maryland marched outside the Capitol with over 1,000 Jews and allies at the Jewish Rally For Abortion Justice, organized by our partners at the National Council of Jewish Women.

Your year-end gift of $18 will power our movement’s fight to make this a country for all of us in 2023. <[link removed]>

Organizing for justice across the country

Bend the Arc leaders in Atlanta, including alums from Bend the Arc’s Jeremiah Fellowship, came together to reflect on past work and plan out their chapter’s work going forward.

Fighting for our values at the ballot box

Bend the Arc members contributed to races and ballot measures in 10 states: Georgia, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Michigan, Ohio, Maryland, California, New York, Illinois, and Pennsylvania — where Democratic leaders like Summer Lee (PA-12), Chris Deluzio (PA-17), and Governor-Elect Josh Shapiro (above) won their races.

Nourishing our multiracial Jewish community

Project Shamash, our racial equity and leadership initiative based in the Bay Area, organized a special community event ahead of the High Holidays this year with partners at Urban Adamah, Kehillah Community Synagogue, and Jews in All Hues.

When you give to Bend the Arc, you make all of this possible — and more. Donate $18 this Hanukkah to keep growing our movement in the year ahead. <[link removed]>

“There is enough for all of us”

Bend the Arc’s Rabbi Aryeh Cohen was on Dr. Phil this year to share — with a national audience! — how we can fight antisemitism and dismantle white supremacy through solidarity.
