Sending and receiving holiday cards is such a wonderful way to celebrate the season. 

Photos of our families, updates from the past year, gold leaf and red ribbons: Each card gives us the opportunity to connect with people who are important to us, so we can celebrate all the incredible joy, happiness, and hope they bring to our lives.

That’s why we’re sending a holiday card to our chairman, Tim Shriver, and the whole Shriver family. We want to fill it to the BRIM with the names of all the dedicated supporters in this community!

For the last 54 years, Special Olympics has helped bring joy into the lives of athletes. And over time, with the help of generous supporters like you, that joy has expanded and multiplied, to reach millions of people worldwide.

A desire to create and share joy is central to who we are. When Eunice Kennedy Shriver started Special Olympics, she knew that creating a more loving and welcoming world for people with intellectual disabilities (ID) would help bring joy to all people — and Tim and other members of the Shriver family continue to carry out that mission today.

During this special time of year, let’s honor Eunice’s legacy, the incredible dedication and care of the entire Shriver family, and the joy that Special Olympics brings to athletes and families everywhere.
