December is supposed to be one of our strongest fundraising months of the year. I just had our fundraising team pull a fundraising report, and this is where we’re at right now.

This is our last chance to build the resources we need to start off 2023. 

You might be wondering why 2023 is so important. After all, the presidential election isn’t until 2024. 

2023 is what we call a building year. It’s a year for us to lay the groundwork and build a strong foundation for a big election year. Right now, all signs are pointing to Michigan becoming an early primary nominating state for the Democratic Party, which means even more eyes will be on our state.

What we do this month prepares us for the year ahead. We all need to come together now because it will take all of us working together to keep Michigan blue for years to come.
