Right before the holidays, I penned a letter to Attorney
General William Barr demanding that he resign. I was joined by
10 of my congressional colleagues.

Barr has long made clear that his top priority as
attorney general is protecting Donald Trump at all costs — not
dispensing impartial justice. That is why I decided to lead the
charge in demanding that he resigns from office.

Not surprisingly, Barr has refused to do the right thing
and step aside. That’s why I am now turning to you to help turn
up the heat. Will you co-sign my letter to Attorney General Barr

As Attorney General, William Barr has tried to discredit
the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) by disparaging their
report that claimed there were sufficient grounds to investigate
the Trump campaign. Maybe Barr did this because the OIG debunked
his suggestion that “spying did occur” on the Trump campaign.

Even more alarming, Barr has also claimed that the FBI
under President Obama was a greater threat to American democracy
than Russia — a totally ludicrous and partisan hack claim.
