Pray for IJM's team working to set up an office in

Bucharest, Romania . This will be IJM's first anti-trafficking program in Central and Eastern Europe. At the start of a new program, there are always a lot of logistics to work out and new relationships to buildâ — please pray for those logistics and connections so that our team will be able to run efficiently and professionally.

Our teams in Uganda, Kenya and Ghana are all starting work on new project grants this year. Please pray for wisdom as they begin their activities under these new grants.
Latin America

Pray for wisdom for our collaborative casework staff as they make plans for the upcoming year. In 2020, they will continue to identify individual and local organizations who want to learn and contextualize IJM's model to provide legal and aftercare services for children survivors. Pray that God will lead our staff to partner organizations who have a heart for justice and will walk with future survivors.
South Asia

Praise God for the expansion of our survivor advocacy network into a new state! A brave and excited group of 80 survivors — rescued several years ago from brick kilns, sugarcane farms and other businesses — have banded together to support one another and raise their voices to those in power. Similar networks have seen huge success in empowering survivors and meeting their needs. We're so excited for the potential in this new group! Pray they would be filled with confidence and would secure quick wins to fuel their fight to end slavery.
Southeast Asia

Pray for communities, NGO partners and local government agencies to increasingly refer cases to our IJM Cambodia office. Our team is eager to receive more case referrals in 2020 so that we can continue to work with authorities to bring rescue to victims of slavery.

Please pray for orientation this week, as new staff members, interns and fellows are joining our team. Pray for smooth logistics, and pray that they would feel joyfully welcomed to IJM and the work of justice. In particular, please pray for the team members who will be moving internationally for their positions. Pray for smooth travel and for physical and emotional stamina as they arrive in the field.
