Everyone is finally learning what I’ve known all along. The Washington Post has reported that Justice Department officials have determined that the conspiracy theories and lies that have been peddled for years about me, my family, and the Clinton Foundation are without merit. Their investigation found “nothing of consequence.” Now you know the truth.
When I ran for president, this highly effective global charity was unfairly dragged through the mud. I am so proud of the impact the Clinton Foundation continues to have – in spite of these unrelenting attacks over the past several years.
I’ve got thick skin, but these politically-motivated lies hurt the people the Foundation works to help across our country and around the globe. That’s simply unacceptable and unfair to them.
We face real issues and challenges that need our collective attention, and I’ve seen how the Clinton Foundation works to solve them. The Foundation’s programs are putting people first – every day.
Whether it is responding to the opioid crisis, helping the people of Puerto Rico and others across the Caribbean build back better, supporting early childhood brain development, fighting climate change, or inspiring the next generation of young people to turn their ideas into action, the Clinton Foundation is a shining example of what’s actually working in America. It embodies a spirit of cooperation, partnership, and our shared humanity.
