Judicial Watch sued FBI Director Christopher Wray on behalf of FBI
analyst Marcus Allen for violating Allen’s constitutional rights by
falsely accusing him of holding “conspiratorial views,” stripping his
security clearance, and suspending him from duty without pay.
Allen, who worked with the FBI’s field office in Charlotte on the
agency’s terrorism task force, denied in the lawsuit filing that he
voiced support for the Jan. 6 insurrection. The suit said the FBI did not
give him a clear reason for his punishment.
The
government watchdog group Judicial Watch has filed a lawsuit against the
FBI for having put on administrative leave an analyst for espousing
“conspiratorial views” that suggest support for the Jan. 6 Capitol
riot.
Marcus Allen, an FBI staff operations specialist, claims he was wrongly
placed on administrative leave from an internal FBI investigation in
a lawsuit filed by him and Judicial Watch.
