Last week marked the 10th anniversary of the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting, which tragically took the lives of twenty first graders and six faculty members.

Over the last ten years, I have fought tooth and nail with my progressive colleagues to advance common-sense gun safety legislation because Americans deserve to feel safe while at school, shopping at the grocery store, or attending religious services.

But because of obstruction by my Republican colleagues, who prioritize raking in campaign donations from the NRA over saving lives, we still haven’t done enough to protect our communities.

John, we've lost too many innocent lives. Please stand with me as I demand Republicans stop standing in our way of passing common-sense gun legislation by signing your name next to mine today.
