Help us build our people power No images? Click here John, I hope you saw Mariana’s email earlier this week. The fossil fuel industry has shown time and again that they will put their bottom line ahead of the health and safety of Washington’s communities. However, we have shown time and again that the way that we stop them is by building people power to push back. Next year we know corporate polluters will spend lavishly to influence elected leaders and even more to defeat local environmental champions in November. We must stop them. Next year we can secure and protect laws that will begin to undo the harms done to our environment and communities by these companies and elect more local leaders who can have an immediate impact on our state. Thank you, David David Gorton John, We can’t rest now. Over the last few years we have elected environmental champions to important positions across Washington – from Port Commissioners to Governor – because of the grassroots movement we have built together. Now we must take that momentum into 2023. Next year we know that to accomplish our goals we will need to build support among Washingtonians who want strong, equitable environmental policies. That is why it is so critical to receive your support before the end of the year. Next year we are going to train new activists, make connections in the communities we are working in, help more people access their right to vote, and push back against the money that Big Polluters will dump into elections. And we will hold our elected leaders accountable to creating an Evergreen Future for our state. Your support will make that possible. Your contribution now will help us to make sure that our staff, interns, and every activist and volunteer have the tools they need to be successful. The stakes are high for the environment in 2023. Moving forward with smart, environmental policy and electing the right people next year will mean equitably responding to environmental threats, reducing climate pollution, and protecting our communities. We couldn’t have gotten this far without you and now we need your support again as we get ready for 2023. Thanks for all you do, Mariana Mariana Sánchez Castillo |
