Dear Friend,
Looking back on the last 12 months, we have so much to celebrate about the work we’ve done together.
I’m writing today to share some of those highlights [[link removed]] , and to ask you to invest in a 2023 that is just as impactful with a year-end gift to GGWash [[link removed]] . We’re 25% of the way to our $10,000 goal, and need your help to reach it by December 31.
In 2022, we:

Published more than 600 articles from 90 contributors, collectively read more than 2.5 million times,
Met nearly 800 of you in person at events around the region,
Expanded our policy work to cover Maryland and Virginia 
Worked with the DC Council to introduce six safe streets bills, two of which passed as part of the recent Safer Streets Amendment Act.

Our region now enjoys more bus priority infrastructure, housing opportunities, and protected infrastructure for bikes and walking than it did at the beginning of the year, and we’ve seen recent policy reforms that make us optimistic about more on-the-ground change to come.
But we know all too well that more remains to be done – and that continued progress depends on all of us to make it happen.
