year, but to make sure we cross the finish line so we can defend our DAs

this one, it gives us so much hope for our work ahead.

Because every gift that comes in proves that there are people who believe
in our mission so deeply — our mission to end mass incarceration, elect
leaders who will transform what justice looks like in this country, hold
police accountable, free innocent people, and create real justice for our
communities from the bottom up.

And no matter what conservative megadonors and police unions throw at us,
it will never be a match for the power that we have together. Our power is
in our numbers.

So, John,
that’s why we want to be real with you: these next 11 days are the most
critical ones of the entire year.

We still need to raise $42,063 between now and December 31 — and with
