A NOTE FROM CHRISSY
In a year marked by many highlights, one, in particular, stands out – and will for some time: having the opportunity to once again serve our community in Chester and Berks Counties. As I’ve said before, our movement is about building a brighter future that works for each and every one of us in PA-06 and across the country. And while the 2022 elections are over, our efforts to work toward that shared goal are far from finished. In other words, there is work to be done. With that, I’d like to bring you updates on what we’ve accomplished recently.

Honored and humbled to serve my community once again
Our community put me in office to uphold our values and serve this purple district, and I remain humbled by that honor. No matter who you supported in this election, I promise to continue to listen and advocate tirelessly for families and businesses in Chester and Berks Counties. With your renewed support and that of an overwhelming majority of our district, I will return to Congress on your behalf and work tirelessly across the aisle to solve the real problems we face, from inflation to attacks on our freedoms and democracy. It’s an honor to serve you.
Love conquers all, celebrating the Respect for Marriage Act
When I decided to run for Congress, my daughter Molly allowed me the opportunity to share her story publicly. From day one, I promised her I’d do something good with that generosity to help the entire LGBTQ community. So I am so happy to say I joined many of my colleagues in passing the Respect for Marriage Act. You can read the full bill here. My daughter Molly, her wife, and all members of the LGBTQ+ community ought to be to love who they love. I am relieved that this bill has passed and look very much forward to President Biden signing it into law this month.

Fighting for paid leave for families and businesses
Since coming to Congress, I have made paid family and medical leave a priority. Not just to foster economic growth, but to make it even better – more accessible, equitable, and fair for every family in our country. Given Americans’ broad support for paid family and medical leave, it’s clear we must continue our efforts to enact legislation at the federal level. That's why I created the first-ever bipartisan working group with Rep. Stephanie Bice (R-Okla.) to advance paid leave policies.
Together, we will find solutions to uplift American women, families, and businesses – no matter how big or small.

Our 68th town hall
We held our 68th town hall in front of a full crowd in Downingtown a few weeks ago. The safety of our kids is always top of mind, and I'm grateful that our community members gathered to participate in a constructive conversation about the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. I’m incredibly grateful to law enforcement and our educators in particular, who work every day to address serious issues in our schools and communities. It’s clear we must continue our partnerships and collaboration to improve safety in every zip code.
It has been quite a year, and there is more yet to come! As we enter this welcome holiday break, I extend to all of you my very best wishes and gratitude for all you bring to our community here in PA-06 and beyond.
There is work to be done.
– Chrissy
With just two weeks left before the 117th Congress ends, Chrissy is in Washington working to address important pieces of legislation that will help families and businesses in PA-06. On January 3rd, new members will be sworn in and the 118th Congress will convene. Chrissy is committed to delivering for her community. We must be ready to face the challenges ahead. So please, contribute what you can to help us support Chrissy and her momentum going into 2023. Thank you so much for being part of this movement.
