NCOA to Award Vaccine Grants to Local Organizations Serving Older Adults and People with Disabilities
We are proud to announce that NCOA has received a $50 million grant from the U.S. Administration for Community Living—the largest in NCOA's history—to implement a nationwide campaign to ensure older adults and people with disabilities get the latest COVID and flu vaccines.

This is a pivotal moment. These vulnerable groups face the continuing threat of COVID and the winter flu season. There's no time to waste in getting them access to life-saving vaccines. That's why we're inviting you to join this effort.

NCOA expects to distribute approximately 250 grants to organizations participating in this initiative. We invite a multitude of organizations to apply, including:
  • Senior centers
  • Community centers
  • Local community organizations that serve, support, and include older adults and people with disabilities
  • Faith-based organizations that serve, support, and include older adults and people with disabilities
  • Governmental agencies
  • Other federally recognized nonprofit organizations
Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis until March 1, 2023, or until funds are exhausted. Project start dates can begin in early January 2023 and close as late as April 15, 2024.

We full expect this to be a very popular and competitive funding opportunity, so we encourage all eligible organizations to submit their applications as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your ongoing support of older adults. We look forward to working with you!

Sincerely,
The NCOA Team
