I ran for Congress on a pledge to protect and defend reproductive health care access.

After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, I heard from so many people who were concerned about access to reproductive health care. Regressive policies passed by states across the country are making it harder for people to receive the care they want and infringing upon people’s ability to make their own health care decisions.

That's not freedom.

I didn’t serve my country overseas to protect American freedoms only to see them taken away from half of the country by unelected judges and far-right politicians.

That’s why, within two weeks of being sworn into Congress in September, I introduced the Protecting Reproductive Freedom Act, which protects access to FDA-approved abortion medications.

But since introducing my legislation, an anti-choice group has sued the FDA to take away access to these commonly-used, highly safe medications. The right-wing will stop at nothing to take away the right to abortion for people across the country.

This is urgent, team. Will you sign on as a citizen co-sponsor of my legislation to protect access to reproductive health care? We urgently need to pass important bills like this to safeguard our freedoms. [[link removed]]

Thanks for taking action. We’re going to keep up this fight until abortion access is protected nationwide.

Yours in service,

Pat
