Dear John,
This Christmas Eve, St Barnabas with Christ's Chapel will host a Christmas Eve Pageant that will feature live animals.
Live camels and a donkey will be forced to participate in this event, which will cause them unnecessary suffering. This event will see these sensitive animals displayed as props, dressed up and paraded as though they are nothing more than puppets.
These events are cruel and unnecessary, and they must stop now.
We must take action for these animals today!
TAKE ACTION NOW! ([link removed])
That's why today, we are asking that you email the church and politely ask that this event go ahead without the use of live animals.
We have contacted the church and they havenāt responded to us. Please use our online form using the link, to send an email asking that the use of live animals be cancelled at this event. You can find more information here, on why we are calling for this event to go animal free.

TAKE ACTION NOW! ([link removed])
Animals like camels and donkeys need and deserve safety and stability and are likely to find a full church very challenging and stressful.
I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank those who have donated to our Christmas Appeal. I know times are tough for many of us right now, but knowing you are there to support animals too is so very heart-warming.
If you havenāt had chance to donate to our Christmas Appeal yet you can do so here. Thank you:

Thank you once again for taking action for animals. We are seeing a difference being made with this campaign and one day we will achieve a better life for animals. I will keep you updated on how this action goes.
For the animals,
