Friend, let me tell you the story of Hyun Jung (HJ) Kim, a DACA recipient and mother…
🇰🇷 Originally from South Korea, HJ came to the U.S. around the age of 12 and has lived in Alaska since. The news of her pregnancy in 2015 empowered HJ to seek protections for herself and soon after her son’s, Alex, birth she became a DACA recipient. 🧡 Since then, HJ and Alex have traveled back and forth from Alaska to D.C. to fight for citizenship (since Alex was just a tiny baby! 🥹)
Just last week, HJ & Alex joined us in D.C for our largest recent mobilization to demand that Congress pass citizenship for her and thousands of immigrants this year! Listen to more of HJ & Alex’s story in the video below & then keep reading to learn how YOU can take action in support of DACA recipients like myself and HJ:

Like HJ mentioned in the video, she would like to stay in the country she calls home and raise her son fearlessly and with stability. with DACA ending soon, she fears the thought of having to leave her sweet son behind. 🥺 DACA recipients like myself, HJ, and our families are tired of temporary stability. The time is NOW for Congress to take concrete action and pass citizenship! 😤
❗️If you agree that time is ticking for citizenship, friend, join me in taking action today for HJ, her son Alex and all immigrant youth by making a call to your Congress member. Just ☎️ DIAL 1-831-200-1822 or click below for a guided script & to easily get connected:
