When you donate to Faith in Action, this is what you’re funding: an immigrant- and undocumented-led movement to secure a pathway to citizenship for all 11 million of our undocumented siblings.

It’s more important than ever to donate to this critical work. 

We still don’t have a pathway to citizenship, despite a popular majority who want the undocumented members of our community to feel safe and secure. LA RED will press ahead in 2023 and 2024 to continue building the political will to get this done.

We will also continue to use direct mobilization and protest tactics to make our voices heard. We will not stand for politicians busing immigrants and asylum seekers to other states to grandstand for cheap political points. We will hold these politicians accountable.

And we will continue to welcome immigrants, migrants, and asylum seekers at the border and at their final destinations. We’ll ensure they have the immediate and long-term support they need to stay safe, find stability, and be reunited with their families. 

We depend on the generosity of our donors to do all of this work. At this moment, we cannot afford to take our foot off the gas. Too many lives are at stake.

I am so proud to work for Faith in Action, which centers the leadership of Black, Brown, immigrant, and undocumented women like me. This organization understands that we cannot achieve true justice without the leadership of those most impacted. Como directora de LA RED, yo organizo una coalición grande e imparable por la justicia inmigrante, y para asegurar que los inmigrantes y los migrantes se abarcan con dignidad y amor. 

Como madre y destinataria de DACA, este trabajo es personal. Todavía estoy viviendo en el limbo legal – mi familia y yo planeamos nuestras vidas en incrementos de dos años.

Cuando usted hace una donación a Fe en Acción, esto es lo que está financiando: un movimiento dirigido por inmigrantes y personas indocumentadas para obtener un camino hacia la ciudadanía para todos los 11 millones de nuestros hermanos indocumentados.

Es más importante que nunca hacer una donación a este trabajo crucial. 

Todavía no tenemos un camino hacia la ciudadanía, a pesar de una mayoría popular que quiere que los miembros indocumentados de nuestra comunidad se sientan seguros. LA RED persevera en el 2023 y el 2024 para seguir creando la voluntad política para lograr esto.

También seguiremos usando la movilización directa y tácticas de protesta para hacer escuchar nuestras voces. No toleraremos que los políticos manden en autobús a los inmigrantes y los que buscan asilo a otros estados con el fin de fanfarronear por puntos políticos baratos. Responsabilizaremos a estos políticos.

Y seguiremos abarcando a los inmigrantes, migrantes, y personas buscando asilo en la frontera y en su destino final. Aseguraremos que tengan el apoyo inmediato y a largo plazo que necesitan para mantenerse seguros, encontrar estabilidad, y reunirse con sus familias. 

Dependemos de la generosidad de nuestros donantes para hacer todo este trabajo. En este momento, no podemos quitar el pie del acelerador. Demasiadas vidas están en juego.

Estoy tan orgullosa de trabajar por Fe en Acción, que centra el liderazgo de las mujeres de color, inmigrantes, e indocumentadas como yo. Esta organización comprende que no podemos lograr la justicia verdadera sin el liderazgo de las personas más impactadas.
