URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Southern Resident orcas are just ONE oil spill away from
EXTINCTION!
In the past year, we’ve devastatingly lost Southern Resident orcas Cappuccino
and Marina -- and now, young Ripple is presumed dead.
Still reeling from their deaths, only 73 Southern Resident orcas remain in the
wild -- and they’re struggling to survive. Orcas function in close-knit, sensitive communities. When they lose a family
member, their chances of survival plummet as their grief can push them into STARVATION.
To make matters worse, Big Oil tankers and massive cargo ships are driving away
the whales’ ONLY SOURCE of food -- Chinook salmon -- leaving these precious
whales to STARVE TO DEATH. But Big Oil is still pushing CATASTROPHIC new megaprojects that could push
orcas EVEN FURTHER toward the brink. Friend, we need your help NOW to protect defenseless
orcas and give them a fighting chance. Will you sign your name now and help save Southern Resident orcas?

[[link removed]]If Big Oil and shipping companies proceed with projects like the expanded Trans
Mountain Pipeline and the Roberts Bank T2 terminal, it could spell disaster for endangered orcas. The increased oil tanker and shipping traffic caused by these DESTRUCTIVE
megaprojects will result in extreme noise, air, and water pollution and increase the oil spill threat -- which would not only destroy sensitive orca habitat but will also drive away
Chinook salmon, a vital food source that these innocent creatures rely on for
survival.
Reeling from grief, suffering from food shortages, and negatively impacted by
oil tanker traffic, the Southern Resident orcas are one oil spill away from extinction. If this pattern continues, Friend, we could be the last
generation to share the planet with these majestic creatures. Please, Friend, will you add your name and stand up to
Big Oil to protect helpless and vulnerable orcas?
