John,
On November 8, Minnesotans voted to defend democracy, protect reproductive freedom, follow science and address climate change, and prioritize, reimagine, and invest in a world-class public education system for every student in every zip code.
But this election wasn't a pat on the back. It was a kick in the butt. And with our historic surplus, thanks to our strong and growing economy, we have a golden opportunity to make historic investments that will improve the lives of Minnesotans for generations to come.
I'm ready to get it done, but our opponents haven't gone anywhere. And especially now that Donald Trump is running for President again and Mike "The MyPillow Guy" Lindell is back on the national scene, we need to keep our foot on the gas.
We set a $150,000 end-of-year grassroots budget target to settle up our final expenses after a hard-fought campaign. If we come up short and look weak when our numbers are made public after the New Year, it will embolden MAGA Republicans to obstruct our agenda even more.
My fundraising team tells me you've yet to donate this year, and I wanted to follow up personally – if there was ever a time when we needed your support, it is right now.
John, if you’re able, will you make a contribution of $10, $25, $50, or more today so we can keep aiming higher and reaching further to build a brighter future for our state?
I’m grateful,
Tim Walz
