PLANNED PARENTHOOD
Care. No Matter What.
I've always believed that part of what makes Planned Parenthood so special is how rooted we are in our communities.

Patients trust Planned Parenthood because they know us — they're the same folks we see on the morning bus, the same folks we see at church and at the grocery store. They're friends and neighbors and family, and we show up for them every day, no matter what, because that's what community is.

I'm Tchenevia Stewart, the health center manager for the Planned Parenthood Gwinnett Center of Lawrenceville, Georgia. I've seen my colleagues show commitment to our community time and time again. But I'm also seeing the toll that this past year has taken, on patients and staff alike.

Right now, abortion is banned in Georgia after about six weeks of pregnancy. The abortion ban here has gone back and forth through the courts, creating confusion and chaos. Patients don't know what their rights are from one day to the next. Doctors and nurses are having heartbreaking conversations about the kinds of care they can provide — and what they can't.

No lie, this is a hard time to do what we do. But we aren't giving up on patients — that's just not in Planned Parenthood's nature. I hope you'll stick with us and join with other Planned Parenthood supporters in helping to raise at least $100,000 in the next 48 hours. Your donation will help ensure that health centers across the country — health centers like mine — have the resources they need to provide quality sexual and reproductive health care, birth control, and sex education services to our communities.

Help us reach this important goal before midnight tomorrow. Make a year-end gift to support Planned Parenthood's work across the country and help health centers provide necessary care.

It's not just about Georgia. More and more, I'm seeing license plates in our parking lot from Mississippi, South Carolina, Florida, and even from farther away. People are being forced to flee their home states just for a chance to get the care they need.

And that's a reminder that our community isn't only local. It's everyone who needs us, everyone who trusts us. It's all of us in this together. And I am so proud that Planned Parenthood's doors are open to everyone, no matter who they are or where they come from.

That's the power of the Planned Parenthood community. That's the purpose we find in this work. And it only works because of people like you, everyone chipping in what they can.

So here's what I'm asking you today:
We've got until midnight tomorrow to help Planned Parenthood Federation of America reach its $100,000 goal to help Planned Parenthood health center patients get the care, support, and information they need. Please, chip in now.

No matter how hard things get, no matter what we're up against — I know we can help each other through. And I have no doubt that we'll keep showing up for each other. Thank you for being a part of this community and for everything you do to help.

Thank you for your help,

Tchenevia Stewart, Health Center Manager and Director of Patient Services

P.S. We need your generosity more than ever — the future of our reproductive freedom depends on it. But if you aren't in a place to give this year or already made your year‑end gift, we understand that. If you'd like to receive fewer messages from us for the rest of the year, you can submit a request here.
