Recently our team at Boot Campaign received a letter from a veteran. In part it read:

"Transitioning from the military has been by far the hardest thing I’ve had to do. The pain I experienced over the past 15 years was soul-crushing.

"I contemplated leaving this earth. I told my wife
I thought I was becoming a burden on my family
and could not see myself living in so much pain."
But he reached out for help and tried everything. His journey led him to Boot Campaign.

The letter continued:

"The team at Boot Campaign made both myself
and my wife feel worthy over and over and over,
and their kindness and generosity has helped
me stay the course in my healing.

"While I still may experience the wear-and-tear of military service, I now have the tools to navigate those injuries and will always have something to come back to in order to keep my body at peak performance.

"No amount of words can describe the joy and gratitude my wife and I feel for the gifts we’ve been given."

As we all prepare to enter a new year, we hope you consider the impact you could make ([link removed]) on a veteran and military family. To hear more stories from veterans we’ve served through our Health & Wellness program, continue reading below.
