[ [link removed] ]Fundraising thermometer - help us reach our $80,000 goal!
Indivisibles,

On Sunday, we shared two things:

 1. Contributions to Indivisible and progressive allies have been down
(which is why we’ve been sending an above-average number of
fundraising emails)
 2. We’ve set a goal of raising $80,000 by midnight, December 31 so we can
close that gap and enter 2023 with the resources we need to keep
defeating MAGA extremism

Now for an update. As we hoped, a lot of people stepped up and it really
looks like we have a strong chance of hitting the goal. But to make that
happen, we’re still going to need about 1955 more supporters to chip in.

Please make sure to read Sarah’s message below to see why that’s so
important. And if you’d like to pitch in, [ [link removed] ]you can click here to make a
contribution.

We know, with your support, we’ll be able to hit the ground running in the
new year.

In solidarity,
Indivisible Team

Indivisibles,

You may have noticed that Indivisible has been sending more fundraising
emails than normal over the past few months.

The reason is straightforward: Contributions are down.

And we’re not the only ones seeing the problem. While conservative groups
dedicated to stacking the courts with MAGA extremists, rigging our
democracy, and chipping away at our rights are reeling in [ [link removed] ]historic sums
of dark money, our peers and allies across the progressive movement are
reporting budget shortfalls.

Contributions from emails like this are how our side is able to compete
with those shady groups on the right. We don’t accept money from
corporations or political parties, because we believe passionately that we
must maintain our strategic independence. It’s grassroots supporters like
you who’ve always powered this movement with an average donation of just
$21.

And that’s why we’re not panicking. Yes, we need to raise $80,000 before
the end of the year to get back on track. Yes, after a tough fundraising
year, the odds may be against us hitting that goal. But we’re sending this
email to a movement that’s stepped up every single time it’s mattered and
defied the odds at every turn.

[ [link removed] ]Right now, we’re counting on 3,809 supporters to step up again. At our
average donation of $21, that’ll allow us to close our current gap and
enter 2023 with the resources we need to continue supporting game-changing
grassroots organizing in every congressional district in the nation.

If you've saved your information with ActBlue Express Lane, your donation
to Indivisible Project will go through immediately:

Look what we’ve accomplished this year alone. We helped get the largest
climate investment in the history of the planet through a Joe Manchin
Senate. We worked with allies to reframe the election around MAGA
extremism -- a strategy that yielded a historic Democratic overperformance
and proved hard-right policies come with a political cost. Our movement’s
work helped flip statehouses, keep Big Lie purveyors out of
election-administration jobs in 2024 battlegrounds, and expand our Senate
majority.

If we can do all that, I’m absolutely confident we can reach a simple
fundraising goal.

[ [link removed] ]Can you help us get there by making a donation of any amount -- even
$2 -- today? If only a fraction of the folks reading this email did that,
we could knock out our goal immediately. We’d be able to enter 2023 in
fighting shape to take on MAGA extremism and continue this vital work to
build an inclusive multiracial democracy dedicated to the rights, safety,
and dignity of all.

We’d also be able to go back to sending way fewer fundraising emails. 😉

But we understand deeply that not everyone is in a position to give right
now, even if they’d love to help. We’re counting on anyone who can chip in
to pick up the slack -- whether it’s $2 or $21.

And however you're able to contribute to our movement, we're grateful to
have you with us.

In solidarity,

Sarah Dohl
