Friends — Thanks to the grassroots support of this movement, I won re-election last month despite right-wing attacks and the millions of dollars spent against me. We have a huge opportunity to build on our progress.

I'm going to ask you to help build on our movement’s work by chipping in toward our final public fundraising deadline of the year in just a moment, but first, let me explain why your support makes such a big difference.

Over the past two years, I have fought along with fellow progressives in Congress to secure the bold, progressive change voters demanded. We pushed for measures like unemployment insurance and survival checks in the American Rescue Plan, passed the Inflation Reduction Act to lower everyday costs and take on climate change, passed the biggest gun safety bill in decades, and most recently passed legislation to protect marriage equality under federal law.

I put my body on the line to successfully call for an extension of the eviction moratorium and was arrested protesting the extreme Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and strip millions of their reproductive rights.

I have unapologetically helped move the needle on critical policies like Medicare for All, student debt cancellation, and a Green New Deal — and our movement’s work on these issues is far from over.

I also passed 60 bills and amendments, saw eight of my bills and amendments become law, introduced 126 bills and amendments, hosted 70 town halls and round tables in MN-05, co-sponsored 1,257 bills, secured $3,516,076,606 in federal grant funding for my district, and more.

I won’t stop fighting for my district or our country — no matter what attacks Kevin McCarthy and his far-right allies continue to throw my way.

But I can’t do it alone. It will take all of us coming together once again to fuel our organizing work, pass more transformative policies, and prepare for 2024. And the final public fundraising deadline of the year is one of our first chances to build momentum for the election cycle ahead.

So, I’m asking: Can you chip in any amount before the deadline to power our movement’s work and deliver a strong fundraising report? I won’t take a penny of corporate PAC money, so I mean it when I say I’m counting on your support.
