Disgraced former President Donald Trump has been referred for criminal prosecution on four counts by the Jan. 6 committee.
Trump and five of his allies – including Mark Meadows and Rudy Giuliani – all face potential prosecution by the Justice Department. If federal prosecutors choose to pursue charges, they could all end up serving lengthy prison sentences.
This is the culmination of the Jan. 6 committee's courageous efforts to hold Trump and his cronies accountable for undermining our democracy and attacking our nation.
