Just over three years ago, we founded Our Revolution because the
work to restore democracy by getting big money out of politics is
more urgent than ever.

Since then, we have worked together to change American politics
forever by organizing working people to demand a democracy (and a
Democratic Party) that actually represents people, not just
special interests.

Once "radical" issues like getting big money out of politics,
taking action on the climate crisis, Medicare for All, free
college for all, and ending private prisons are now mainstream
thanks in large part to the incredible on-the-ground organizing
of our 600 nationwide groups.

This year, we stand on the precipice of defeating the elite who
use their wealth to exploit our democracy and environment for
profit. In the weeks and months ahead, the structural forces that
oppose a true democracy of the people will be throwing everything
they can at us to stop our political revolution.

That's why Our Revolution is investing in grassroots organizing
to empower activists to change America one community at a time.
Starting this weekend, we'll be holding mass meetings across the
country as part of our Organize to Win 2020 campaign to mobilize
tens of thousands of grassroots progressives activists in
critical states.

When we organize, we win. More than 220 Our Revolution endorsed
candidates have been elected to office over the last three years,
and we have helped pass 50 successful ballot initiatives at the
same time. While you may have heard of our high profile wins like
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, we are also organizing at the local
level all over America, including in traditionally deep-red
states.

In Clarkston, GA, for example, Mayor Ted Terry has raised the
minimum wage to $15 an hour for all city workers and declared
Election Day a local holiday.

We will never stop fighting for a democracy of the people, and
nothing will stand in the way of our progressive movement.
