Fellow Republicans -
First, I want to thank you for all your hard work and support these past two years. It's been an honor to serve as Chair of our great party and to be able to visit you in your homes, workplaces, communities, and your special area of our great state. I've been blessed to meet so many patriots who have joined us in this passionate fight for our state and country. I've honestly loved every minute of it.
After spending some time reflecting in prayer and talking with my family over Thanksgiving, I'm announcing that I will not be seeking an additional term as Chair of the Colorado Republican Party.
I look forward to focusing on policy once again, after my term ends in March of 2023. As a grassroots conservative like you, I know how important it is to continue to fight tooth and nail for our party and our values. We are the pro-life party, the pro-kid party, the pro-Second Amendment party, the working family party, the free speech party, the religious freedom party, and the only party that has the common-sense, constitutional, conservative solutions to put our country back on the right path. We must never forget that, and our work must continue.
Alongside Vice Chairwoman Priscilla Rahn and Secretary Marilyn Harris and so many hard working candidates and forward-thinking leaders, we worked to build a Commitment to Colorado that would show Coloradans and those who haven't typically voted Republican that our candidates want to work for them and make their lives better. Our team has been successful in moving forward our communications, digital, data, fundraising, field and other operations that will be critical to future Republican wins in Colorado. Building something good is never finished overnight.
I'm excited and optimistic about the future of Republicans in Colorado because I know our people. We are strong problem solvers, and we have the right values and the American platform. We are leaning into innovative strategies and people-centered policies that will pay off in the future. Furthermore, Democrat policies continue to undermine our basic freedoms and liberties and are making this state less affordable, less safe, and a harder place to live and raise a family. Coloradans will eventually recognize that fact and look to Republican leaders and candidates as the antidote to this failed, far-left ideology.
We will Never Surrender, and we will retake our state and country. God bless you and your families. I look forward to seeing you soon!
