In March 2022, the Securities and Exchange Commission
(SEC) introduced a proposal to require public companies “to provide
certain climate-related information in their registrations and annual
reports.”
This red-tape regulation from the SEC would only burden
small, family-owned farming and ranching businesses by adding layers of
costly paperwork and unnecessary compliance fees. Mike isn’t going to
let this happen to hardworking Hoosiers!
Indiana farmers are already
struggling to produce and provide affordable raw materials that keep
our economy going. This Democrat-led attack on middle America would
most assuredly drive our local communities into a deeper financial
disaster.
Senator Mike Braun has partnered with Senator John Boozman
to combat this Big Government overreach by introducing their Protect
Farmers from the SEC Act.
