Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has asked the state's Supreme Court to allow an investigation into "any and all wrongdoing in Florida with respect to COVID-19 vaccines."

This is not the first time DeSantis has tried to stoke fear and spread misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines: He bragged about Florida not preordering vaccines for children under five and boasted about having almost no restrictions in Florida at the height of the pandemic.

Ron DeSantis is dangerous, but he is almost certainly gearing up for a presidential run in 2024. And he's gaining Republican support.
