This weekend ATL DSA showed up in support of Starbucks partners organizing at Crabapple & Houze Rd in Alpharetta. In case you missed it, you can still support workers by paying a visit, ordering a simple drink under the name “Union Yes,” and leaving a cash tip. Solidarity! ☕️🌹✊

🎓 Jacobin: UC System Strike Enters 5th Week 🎓

As it enters its fifth week, the biggest college worker strike in history continues to show the administration at the University of California that true power lies with organized workers!
Final semester grades are supposed to be due in the next week, but TAs are on strike all across the state! Massive picket lines and work stoppages have proven to the University that workers are the heart of the system's achievements, and that they deserve their demands met in full.
Cyn Huang, former national YDSA co-chair and current Head Steward of UAW 2865, met with various workers on strike throughout the university system to hear their thoughts, experiences, and insights.

The Post Office is providing another round of four free COVID at-home rapid tests for every residential household. Please stay safe this winter by ordering some free at-home tests!

We’re collecting winter coats and other items to distribute for the colder months! Items needed include: Jackets, Coats, Blankets, Socks, Shoes, PPE (Masks, Hand Sanitizer, Gloves), Hygiene Products (Soap, Tampons, Sanitary Napkins, Toothpaste, Tooth Brushes, Deodorant, Wipes, etc.)
To coordinate, please email [email protected], drop off at the drop-off box at 711 Catherine St SW. The drive will continue into January.
