This holiday season, we at Issue One want to say thank you for making the work we do possible.

Because of your generosity and commitment to defending and strengthening democracy with Issue One this year, we’ve made exciting progress on all fronts of our work, including:

• Running a huge campaign with our partners to push for a crucial update to the Electoral Count Act — which could be the biggest bipartisan election reform in nearly twenty years — to prevent another January 6 and ensure a peaceful presidential transition of power in 2025 and beyond.
• Launching Faces of Democracy, an exciting and innovative campaign that amplifies the voices of election workers to advocate for increased federal election funding and expanded protections for election workers. We launched the campaign with a lobby day where election officials and poll workers from across the country came to D.C. to meet with lawmakers and discuss what more can be done to protect and support our elections and those who run them.
• Continuing to publish ground-breaking research and analyses, including exposing the powerful monied interests who bankrolled election-denying secretary of state candidates during the 2022 election cycle.
• Putting together a brand new council that’s working to hold social media companies accountable and promotes bipartisan solutions to reshape social media and ensure the well-being of our kids, our democracy, and our national security.
• Producing 15 episodes of our “Swamp Stories” podcast, one of the most successful democracy podcasts in the country, that covered a range of national reform issues.
• Publishing 20 op-eds that helped drive the conversation on a host of important topics.
• Releasing a unique video series that exposed disinformation about our elections.

We’re making an impact, and we’re ready to go even bigger in 2023 — and we need your help!
