Although this train isn't headed to the North Pole, it is going straight to
H-Town this Spring. Join us in-person at our 12th Annual Symposium where
you will experience keynote speakers, panels, breakout session, and
workshops that will definitely enrich your knowledge on Texas youth. And as
a bonus, continuing education in multiple disciplines will be provided.
The Symposium's workshops will help enrich your experience at our event.
You won't be putting together toys for Santa, but you will experience the
excitement of piecing together ideas to take back to your community.
WORKSHOPS CAN BE ATTENDED INDIVIDUALLY ON SUNDAY OR WEDNESDAY. SYMPOSIUM

In the FACILITATING SEX ED: THE BASICS AND BEYOND workshop you will
learn the skills and information you need to facilitate sexual health
education effectively.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 26, 9AM-12PM I $100.00
In the RESPONDING TO ADOLESCENT RELATIONSHIP ABUSE workshop you will
learn how to advocate for the safety and self-determination of victims,
promoting accountability for abusers and fostering a community response to
abuse.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 26, 9AM-12PM I $100.00
In the UNDERSTANDING YOUTH SURVIVORS OF TRAFFICKING AND EXPLOITATION
workshop will learn the potential signs of trafficking, vulnerabilities
that lead to a person becoming the target of a trafficker, your role in
identifying and reporting as well as a foundational understanding of trauma
informed response. Local resources available to you who serve these
survivors will also be discussed.
