The reason why we’re only asking for $1 is simple: when we report our fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission at the end of the month, we have to report not only the amount we raised, but the number of donors who chipped in. Come December 31, we want that number to be as high as possible – and reflective of the size and strength of this grassroots team. 

One dollar might not sound like a lot, but one dollar multiplied by the number of people reading this email would be a powerful sum. That’s what makes grassroots movements so unstoppable — and how we know this team has what it takes to protect and defend our Senate majority.
