Dear friend,
I'm writing today to ask for your support during FAMM's year-end fundraiser. We're trying to raise $200,000 before midnight on December 31. It's a big goal, but I know we can do it — together.
Will you give today to help us reach our goal? https://secure.everyaction.com/Y0qUTl-lckKT_-n_1aD9iw2
This year, we're raising money around our Second Chances agenda. Throughout this holiday season, you'll read stories from people about what a second chance means to them. People like Cecilia Cardenas, whose story we shared four days ago. This year, she'll be able to spend Christmas with her whole family, across multiple states, for the first time in more than nine years.
For me, it's personal. When someone like Cecilia is released and able to rejoin their family — that charges my battery. It's why I do this work. I've been in the same situation she was, behind bars and away from my family. Every day hurt. So every time I see that someone got a second chance, I feel driven to work even harder so more people and more families can be reunited. Everything we do at FAMM — from lobbying to storytelling to media relations — is designed to move us in one direction. We are focused on getting people home to their families.
Will you give today to help us reach our goal of raising $200,000 by midnight on December 31 so we can fight for more people to get a second chance? https://secure.everyaction.com/Y0qUTl-lckKT_-n_1aD9iw2
Thank you,
