This week President Trump not only took a decisive, defensive action to defend U.S. troops, he also killed a known terrorist and saved us from war with Iran.
Earlier this week, President Trump authorized an airstrike against Qassem Soleimani, killing him as he left the airport in Baghdad. Soleimani was the head of the Quds Force, a branch of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
This airstrike was in response to an attack believed to be orchestrated by Soleimani on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, and preempted an “imminent” attack on U.S. troops ordered by Soleimani.
Iran responded by launching an “airstrike” against bases in Baghdad that housed U.S. troops. However, they warned the bases ahead of time, so that there would be no casualties. The strike was de-escalatory in nature, seeing as they essentially bombed empty bases, to show the Iranian people that they had responded. Their “airstrike” was plainly an indication that they, like the U.S., didn’t want war.
So, not only did President Trump successfully take out an evil man responsible for the murder of over 600 American troops, but he successfully sent the message to Iran that we don’t want war, but do not mess with the American people.
The strike was a massive shift from the Obama-era foreign policy doctrine of appeasement in response to aggression, and after failing, utilizing bribery, via an airlift of American taxpayer cash.
Even though at this point it feels like it was nearly a year ago, we have to ask, did you watch the Golden Globes this past weekend?
We typically wouldn’t waste our time watching Hollywood hypocrites pat themselves on the back for their own “accomplishments” – not only do we not want to be lectured to about politics from major hypocrites, but the disconnect between them and the American people is particularly nauseating.
However, when Rick Gervais hosts any award show, we know we’re always in for a surprise… seeing as he never holds back. And at this years’ Golden Globes, he did not disappoint.
Gervais went after Hollywood hypocrisy like no one has in a long time. There is no way to sum it up perfectly, so instead, why not watch it for yourselves, here:
You know what drives us crazy? The fact that Democrats are pushing to have Michael Flynn sent to prison while ignoring Andrew McCabe’s crimes. This week, the DOJ recommended six months in prison for Michael Flynn, an innocent American hero. But then, crooked Andy McCabe admitted to lying to internal federal investigators, yet was let off the hook.
They are both accused of lying to the FBI. McCabe admitted guilt, but Flynn was pressured to admit to something by a corrupt investigation led by Robert Mueller, during the Russia Hoax witch hunt.
This is a complete miscarriage of justice.
This impeachment scheme the Democrats have cooked up may be boiling over. New polls in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Ohio (the swing states) show President Trump taking a healthy lead in one-on-one matchups against the top Democrat primary candidates....
